75% of the world's Basmati rice is produced in India and REI Agro is a major player in this country. Keeping abreast of the changing time, the company has been proactively strengthening its branding, processing and production capabilities.

REI Agro launched its 6Ten chain of retail outlets in the last quarter of the fiscal of 2006-07 as a part of its objective to get closer to the customer decision making process, enhance margins and realizations.
